Everything started in 2015, when one of our co-founders father got his webcam hacked.

One day, out of the blue, he got an email from a shady company with images of him sitting in front of the computer.  In order for them to stop having access to his webcam, the shady company wanted him to buy a anti-virus software for X hundred dollars per month.

Well, is a shady software really the solution?  We didn't think so.

So we created Peeping Toms — a simple and self-adhesive webcam cover that works on computers, tablets and smartphones. Simply put, a physical product for digital privacy.

The first collection is titled 'EyeSpy' and inspired by classic spy and surveillance novels such as "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" by John le Carré and "1984" by George Orwell. Except that our eyes and spies are kind. Illustrations by the talented Henrik Franklin.
